Acting 411 is letting us know that the Drew Barrymore rumour is false, and she’s not in the running for directing Eclipse. However, they give us some brand new information. Chris’ brother Paul might be directing Eclipse, since Chris will be working in post production of New Moon.
This has not been confirmed officially, so let’s treat it as a rumour until Summit lets us know.

We never got to see this photoshoot, since Kristen flew solo on the Teen Vogue Twilight issue. And eventhough we always wondered what happened with the photoshoot with the rest of the cast, we never got answers.

Robert Pattinson was a first-time Oscar presenter on Sunday. Hugh Jackman was a first-time host.
So, how’d the two first-timers celebrate?
With a little karaoke.
I just got word that Pattinson and Jackman engaged in some karaoke crooning together this week at a bar in Tokyo.
The two have been in Japan on business. Pattison touched down on Tuesday to promote Twilight, while Jackman and Nicole Kidman attended last night’s premiere of Australia.
Says a source, “They went after doing press for their films.”
Those lucky japaneses… *sighs* Wish I was there…

Twilight’s much anticipated sequel New Moon will allow Taylor Lautner‘s hottie werewolf character Jacob to step up and woo Bella leading-man style—and he might not let her, or the swooning fans, go.
“I think Rob should watch out,” Rachelle Lefevre, who plays Victoria, tells Life & Style magazine. “(Taylor) will make sure his relationship with her is just as intense and has just as much chemistry as Rob’s.”
Indeed, Pattinson is quoted in the magazine piece downing Stella beer and lamenting, “I’ve got two scenes.”
Lautner is ready to get hairy in the big-time role, knowing that once you go wolf, you cannot get enough. He tells the mag, “I wanted to get Twlight over with, let Edward (Pattinson) have his time with Bella and get moving with New Moon.”
“It’s about time Jacob got in there.”

I mean… what? Well, according to EW, she could direct the third instalement! Here’s the excerpt:
As Summit Entertainment looks to lock in a director for the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse, the company is talking to a select group of directors — including actress-turned-helmer Drew Barrymore, EW has learned. While this news may come as a surprise to some, Barrymore did just finish work on her directorial debut, Whip It! starring Ellen Page. Neither Summit nor Barrymore’s reps would comment for this story.
