Kellan Lutz, Stephen Moyer from True Blood, and Paul Wesley from The Vampire Diaries, attended the Cosmopolitan magazine’s “Fun Fearless Male Awards” at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC last night. They joked about the vampires of their shows and movies facing off in an epic vampire battle and imagined what it would be like. Kellan thinks True Blood vamps would win! Wat…
I think True Blood would kick all our asses. Eric on True Blood) would kick all our asses. He’s a bad ass on the show.” But, he continued, “Really, who knows. We all have different strengths and powers.” For the Cullen clan, “you have to rip us apart. That can be tough if you [don't have] super human strength to do that.”
Kellan, baby, NO. Just because the Twilight vampires sparkle doesn’t many they’re My Little Ponies. Let’s review why True Blood vampires could never beat the Twilight vampires, shall we?
1. In the first episode of True Blood two rednecks capture vampire Bill to drain his blood (in True Blood vampire blood is an illegal drug that has amazing properties. “V” makes people feel great, like no other drug can, and it’s very expensive. So people like to capture vampires to steal their blood, which is a surprisingly easy thing to do – by mortals!). These two rednecks (who aren’t even the sharpest tools in the shed) actually manage to lure him to a dark forest behind a deli and restrain him. The guy’s like a 120 years and is still innocent enough to follow shady people he’s never met before, who clearly have an agenda. All it takes to restrain vampire Bill is a thin silver chain. A very thin silver chain. Do you think two rednecks would’ve been able to restrain Edward,or even luring him some place dark in the first place? Not even if you offered him some Bella candy and toldhim you were a friend of his mother!
2. On another episode three rednecks burn a house down and kill three vampires. All it took was fire to kick their butts, and again, it was a group three mortals. No smarts, no skills.
3. On another episode of the first season a character and his girlfriend manage to capture a vampire to drain his blood and keep them in a basement for a few days. These two people were mortals too, and like the mortal vampire killers mentioned above, they’re neither smart, fast or strong. Also like the in the previous instances, the vampire is completely defenseless against silver and silly people. And like vampire Bill, we was easily fooled.
And that’s just the beginning. If simple mortals with no plans or skills can kill the True Blood vampires with little effort, I think the Cullens can manage too

For the record, I adore True Blood 
. And I don’t have an opinion on the Vampire Diaries because I’ve never watched the show.
