I would still take this information with a pinch of salt, just in case, however it’s worth noting that the source is not a tabloid or an entertainment site, but the official newspaper of the state of Coahuila.
The information in this post was confirmed by the secretary of tourism who is the only person who knows the complete schedule and filming locations of On The Road in the state of Coahuila, so I would assume we can trust her word unless the newspaper is misquoting her.
Newspaper Vanguardia confirms that Kristen Stewart will arrive on September 18th (three days later than the rest of the crew, which arrives on the 15th) in Coahuila, the same day when filming begins in the area. Like we informed you yesterday, the crew of 150 will arrive in town and will film in Mexico for a month. A new location was also revealed: San Pedro de las Colonias, Coahuila.
The secrecy surrounding the information on the filming of the movie “On The Road” in locations such as Viesca Coahuila and San Pedro de las Colonias continued yesterday by state officials, because apparently the Governor Humberto Moreira, will be the one who delivers the information of the movie in Coahuilean lands.
However, the presence of Kristen Stewart is already confirmed.
“We have no schedule yet, so we don’t have an exact answer, the only thing we do know is that it is going to film here and they will receive all our support,” said Sophia Vega, Assistant Tourism office in Torreon.
Meanwhile, a new location has been added in Mexico: San Luis Potosi, a state in the center of Mexico. Parras de la Fuente will no longer be a location for the movie, but Viesca and San Pedro de las Colonias are 100% confiemed. This is San Luis Potosi:
No word if Puebla is still on, or if it’s been switched for San Luis Potosi (they’re in the same area). We’ll keep you guys posted!
Again, take this with a pinch of salt just in case, however this is a trustworthy publication and not some tabloid.
