We have more information on ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’, the movie that desperately wants Kristen Stewart as their lead. As we speculated before, this movie will be a darker adaptation from the already creepy Grimm Brothers story. Now thanks to MTV we know that the story will have more action and blood than we originally thought, with Snow White being kind of a badass, but with some familiar plot points:
Another love triangle:
Snow White, an 18-year-old princess, is targeted for death by her bitter stepmother, a fate she avoids thanks to Eric, a huntsman out for vengeance against the queen. Prince Charming — called Charmant in the script — eventually comes along to kiss the apple-poisoned Snow, and although he’s her first love, Snow has fallen for the huntsman. Eric, however, insists that Charmant is her one true love. Not a damsel in distress:
Snow White is getting her hands on axes, daggers, bows and arrows and swords over the course of the film. “She’s not the damsel in distress any longer,” reports the script review.Dwarfs that are not to be messed with:
There’s apparently a big battle scene in which the “seven dwarfs attack the Queens Army,” so perhaps we’ll see some new dwarves named Bloody and Stabby added to the mix.
MTV points out that the script is mostly good, but there’s moments that if not done right could be a little bit cheesy (like some special effects and some of the dialogue).
We think it’s up to Kristen now whether she wants to do this movie or not.
POLL:

Ashley Greene is on the cover of Teen Vogue! Looking fresh and elegant, her covershoot and pictorial was shot in Baton Rouge and it looks just great (kind of southern belle inspired, might we add!). We even get a glimpse at her trailer on the set of Breaking Dawn!
Here are some highlights of her interview:
On being away from home:
“There have definitely been low points. Moments when I sit in my hotel room and want to cry! It’s fun, but it’s a lot of pressure. If you’re tired or run-down or having a rough day or missing your friends and family, you can’t just call in sick.”On being a workoholic and never taking time off:
“This industry never stops. Right now I’m in this amazing place, and there are open doors. I think it would be foolish to take a month off. So many people would kill to be in my shoes that it’s just bad karma!”On focusing on being positive after getting backlash for dating Joe Jonas:
“There’s always going to be anti in this industry,” she says brightly. “But the thing is, I have dealt with anti before our relationship, and I will always have to deal with it. There will always be people who love me or hate me. That’s why I try to focus on the positive.”

Meanwhile, here are two pictures of her trailer which is the very first glimpse we’ve gotten from the Breaking Dawn set in Baton Rouge. The place looks just lovely. I bet the cast loves to hang out there when they’re not filming:

UPDATE: Here’s the video, finally!

I don’t know if you’ve seen Mackenzie’s episode on Hawaii Five-0, so I took some screencaps of her best moments. Isn’t she adorable? The wonderful thing is how much she looks like Kristen. There’s some resemblance to Rob as well, but the strongest in my opinion is with Kristen.

One of the wonderful things about Twitter is that we can enjoy things as they happen whenever someone chooses to share them with us. It makes us feel like we’re part of the process somehow, which is something we’ve been missing a bit from the filming of Breaking Dawn now that we don’t have a David Slade to share stuff with us on Twitter.
Anyway, Stewart Thomas has been sharing with us the making and recording of the musical score for Water For Elephants on his Twitter account, along with pictures from the studio where it’s happening!
Here are the best tweets (click on the links to see the pictures):
So exciting! Orchestra, accoustic guitars. It’s going to sound beautiful.
James Newton Howard is the composer of this score, and he’s behind great music like The Dark Knight, Blood Diamond, My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Sixth Sense, I am legend among many others and he’s been nominated for 8 Academy Awards for Best Original Score.
Here’s a youtube clip that puts together some of his best work so you get an idea of what the music of Water for Elephants will sound like. It’s truly beautiful music.
April, you’re still so far away!

Dan Wright from @MetroVanFilms has been tweeting occassional Breaking Dawn Vancouver set information this month. First it was the date when the crew is set to move to Vancouver:
Now it’s information on the high level of isolation the set will have this time around in Vancouver:
We were basically spoiled early on when the crew was in Brazil. We got tons, upon tons, upon tons, and tons of fantastic, now famous set pictures, but the minute the crew moved to Baton Rouge we’ve had very few set pictures and little information, so probably the Gods of film think we’ve had enough epicness (pshhhh). However, this is a first for the Twilight saga. We’ve always spotted the cast filming out and about, and have had wonderful set pictures in the course of almost three years, so fans are getting a little uneasy with all the secrecy and closed set. Sometimes there’s weeks before we know something exciting from the set. This is a completely new feeling!
Maybe it’s for the best, and it was perhaps requested by the actual cast who gets followed everywhere they go (especially Rob). There’s more and more fans by the minute, and at the end of the day, this is probably done for security reasons.

Here’s the latest compilation of tweets from the set of Breaking Dawn. Looks like another big scene was filmed with the Cullens, all the vampire clans and the Volturi. Confrontations? Rumored battle scene in Alice’s visions? Who knows!
Meanwhile, thanks to Mike we know the humans are not done yet. They will still film in Vancouver.
And, Kellan is bonding with the new cast doing charity together. They just built a house for the St Bernard Project and posted a picture (click on the link to view):
And finally, we have more Renesmee news, according to this Mackenzie fansite that has been receiving exclusive information regarding Mack and Renesmee:
There was a problem connecting to Twitter. As we previously reported, several girls will be assisting in the portrayal of Renesmee in her different ages in the movie. Renesmee’s growth will also be completed with the help of CGI. We’re guessing Mackenzie is the main girl for the role, her face will be aged with CGI and it’ll be something like what they did in The Social Network where actor Armie Hammer played the Winklevoss twins and had a body double whose face was replaced with Armie’s face? Just an idea.

We recently told you that Sundance was going crazy for ‘Like Crazy’, a movie starring Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jones, new Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence and our boy, Charlie Bewley that got wonderful reviews and a distribution deal. Last night the movie won U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize, which is the festival’s highest prize.
Charlie posted this message on Twitter:
Congrats, Charlie!
‘Like Crazy’ scored a 4 million dollar deal and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. Thanks to the wonderful reviews and people’s enthusiasm there’s a good chance you’ll get to see this movie. Personally, we can’t wait!

Dakota Fanning was part of W Magazine’s portraits of the best actors of the year. Here’s a new picture for the magazine and a new quote from Dakota.
Dakota Fanning in “The Runaways”
“It was important for me to go to a normal high school. I have a locker, which was a big deal. My mom had to buy me a lock and teach me how to use it. It’s the little things: Where do you go at lunch? How do you open the locker? I wanted a yearbook! Now I have a lot of signatures in my yearbook—‘Have a good summer’ and all that.”
The rest of the portraits include 2010′s biggest stars like Jesse Eisenberg, Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, Justin Timberlake, Michael Douglas, Javier Bardem and her baby sister Elle Fanning among others.

Here’s the video. Lynn Hirschberg interviews actors from the “Best Performances” portfolio asking the question: What Movie Made You Cry?

She hasn’t signed on yet, but it looks like Kristen is the front runner for the role of Snow White in the new remake Snow White and the Huntsman produced by Universal Pictures, as we informed you yesterday.
Deadline reports that Kristen is the favorite for the part:
Though the studio has been testing young actresses and no one is set, there are persistent rumors that Stewart looms large as a potential lead.
Moviefone chimes in with a release date and filming date:
“The film will begin shooting this summer with a Dec. 21, 2012, release date“
Entertainment Weekly believes this could be a wise career move:
“If Kristen Stewart (who is still at work on the last Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn) came aboard, along with Mortensen and Charlize Theron — long rumored to be in negotiations to play the evil Queen — this Snow White project directed by Rupert Sanders is shaping up to have some major star power”
Screenrant adds that the remake is based in the Brothers Grimms’ story, which is a horror story.
“Stewart’s casting in this retelling of The Brothers Grimm story would mark her first major studio lead role outside of the Twilight franchise since it began and a departure from her less-mainstream indie fare as of late. Snow White and the Huntsman is one of three different Snow White movies in development”
So how does the Grimms tale go? Basically, it’s the same tale you’ve heard before, except scarier: jealous Queen with a Magic Mirror hates that Snow White is now the fairest of them all and orders a huntsman to kill her and bring back her heart. The huntsman accepts the task but is unable to do it at the very last minute, telling Snow White to run away and hide from the Queen who wants her dead. He then takes a deer’s heart to the Queen, who cooks it and serves it to the King for dinner. Meanwhile, Snow White finds a new home in a cottage with seven dwarfs who offer her a place to stay if she cooks for them and takes care of the home while they’re gone. But the Queen asks the mirror once more who’s the fairest of them all and… Snow White still is the fairest of them all. The Queen freaks out and tries on different costumes to get close to Snow White and kill her once and for all. She gives her a poisoned apple, Snow White bites and collpases. The dwarfs think she’s dead and place her in a glass coffin for everyone to see.
Here’s where it gets even creepier: some times passes and a Prince passes by and spots the coffin and Snow White. He falls in love with Snow White’s enchanting beauty and begs the dwarfs to let him have the coffin with the pretty dead girl in it. As his servants help him carry the coffin home, Snow White caughs up the piece of poisoned apple and awakens. The Prince and Snow White decide to get married.
Once again the Queen asks her mirror who is the fairest of them all, which answers “the new young Queen is the fairest of them all”. The Queen goes to the other kingdom to meet this new young Queen and it turns out it’s her stepdaughter. As a punishment for trying to kill this kingdom’s new Queen a pair of heated iron shoes are brought forth with tongs and placed before the Queen. She is then forced to step into the iron shoes and dance until she drops dead while everyone watches and laughs.
We don’t now how closely this script will follow the Grimm’s story, but it’s a pretty terrifying tale. We’re sure major changes will be made to make it even scarier for today’s audience. There’s a script making the rounds on the internet, but since there’s three Snow White related projects in the works, we don’t know if this is the script for Kristen’s potential new movie.
