Lilly Collins Talks About Her Snow White Movie and Kristen Stewart

One of the other Snow White projects in the works for 2012 is Relativity’s Snow White, a project that will remain more faithful to the Grimm Bother’s original horror story. It will star Lily Collins as Snow White.

Lily was asked about Kristen’s Snow White movie and here’s what she said:

Kristen Stewart is the other Snow White and I really admire her as an actress. She’s so fun and so sweet and we’re both very different. We’ve both very, very different and I think we’re going to have two totally different takes on it. So it’ll be interesting to see what happens but I’m very excited to be involved with mine with Julia Roberts and Armie Hammer and Tarsem. I’m still completely amazed.

She also mentioned how her Snow White will also be more tough and not as innocent as the version we all know. Seems like all Snow Whites in the works want to go for the badass spin:

I think bringing her spirit and her spunk to life, she changes in this story. She’s very feminine but she also then goes to be with the dwarves and then she has to come back and fight, so she’s got kind of two personalities. She’s the girly princess but at the same time, she’s got this kick butt side. I think she shows a lot of different qualities that young girls have today with the confidence and the excitement.

There’s also a third Snow White titled The Seven, produced by Disney. Rumor has it that Water for Elephants director Francis Lawrence is one of the favorite candidates to direct it.

Funnily enough, Lily already has a connection to the cast of Twilight that goes way back. Not only is she Taylor Lautner’s rumored girlfriend and has visited the set of Breaking Dawn, but this photoshoot was filmed at her house in 2008:

She even blogged about it:

Yesterday I came home to find the cast of the upcoming film “Twilight” doing a photo shoot for InStyle magazine in my back yard. Go figure.
We often rent out the exterior of our house for shoots and yesterday, we just happened to have the the five stars, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattison, who also played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter, Nikki Reed, Rachelle Lefevre, and Cam Gigandet, from the film adaptation of writer Stephenie Meyer’s extremely popular book series “Twilight.” InStyle magazine put together sets all around our back yard complete with chandeliers in trees and disheveled sofas and rugs on our lawn. The whole vibe of the shoot was very eerie and dark and it looked absolutely amazing. The clothes they wore were a mix of avante garde, goth, victorian, and yet modern styles. I would have loved nothing more than to try them all on too! Everyone was very nice and polite. The guys are just so good-looking. Really, I never knew vampires could be so alluring haha. I guess it helps if they’re hard to resist, right? The girls also looked beautiful, all decked out in their amazing wardrobe. Unlike a lot of shoots that either I have been in or have been done at our house, this shoot went by so quickly and everyone was incredibly professional. I couldn’t believe how fast the photographer captured each photo. Everyone looked like they were having a great time and they were each gracious enough to write a little note to us before they left.
