In honor of Les Paul’s birthday, Google came up with a super cool interactive guitar where you can play almost anything with the basic set of notes. I thought it would be fun to play some Twilight, and I thought you’d have fun too, so here are our tutorials to play Twilight’s most famous songs. Be quick, though. Google will be taking down the guitar tonight at midnight. They already kept the guitar an extra day thanks to its massive success.
Step 1. Go to Google’s homepage http://www.google.com You’ll the logo is now a guitar.
Step 2. Click on the record button. This will not only help you record a second, but you won’t need to touch the strings with the mouse. You’ll use your keyboard instead. Don’t type the letters into Google’s search box or you’ll actually search those letters.
Step 3. Play the keys like this: letters that are close together play them quickly. Letters that are far apart mean pause and type slowly.
Claire de Lune:
G L J H J H G H G J G G F G F F G F H F D F D
Step 4. You’ll see the record button blink when your time is almost up. Hit the play button to listen to your song. Click again to re-record. Save the URL to share your song.
