Thanks to our dear friend Iris from @JRathboneFB for helping us out in asking the Monkey’s management if whether or not Jackson Rathbone and the band were visiting Mexico city for a vampire/Twilight convention. Apparently a site has been selling tickets to a show in November (complete with panel, meet and greet, picture with the band) that will take place during the convention, except neither 100 Monkeys or Jackson himself had any idea about it! We decided to check and see for ourselves in the first place because the site seemed shady… and sure enough.
Please be very careful when giving away your money. If the show is not listed on their official site: http://100monkeysmusic.com and if it’s not confirmed by neither of their Twitter accounts: @100MonkeysMusic @JacksonRathbone it’s a scam.
If you’re in Mexico please spread the word. We know of many fans who already purchased tickets because the site claimed they were “selling out quickly”. We know that a visit from a cast member to your own country can be very exciting, especially if the band he plays in is joining him too, but always try to make sure that it’s confirmed before you pay for tickets (these tickets were not cheap). Neither Jackson nor the band’s management had any idea this was going on and meawhile fans in Mexico city were very excited about it, paying good money. Please be very careful and try to get your money back as soon as possible. If the management has no idea about this show, it means there’s not even a hint of negotiations and plans for them to attend a convention. Don’t believe everything your read and always check first.

Last week at Comic-Con, the fansites TwilightLexicon.com, HisGoldenEyes.com, TwilightersAnonymous.com,Twilightish.com, Official Twilight Facebook, TwilightMoms.com, TwilightSeriesTheories.com and yours truly, TwilightPoison.com, had the opportunity to interview Breaking Dawn director Bill Condon. It’s a great read and I hope you take the time to check it out, since he shares a lot of great info. We discussed:
- Filming the honeymoon scene and setting the tone. Honeymoon clip shown at Comic-Con also discussed.
- Working with Mackenzie Foy.
- Stephenie Meyer producing.
- PG-13 and R ratings, when a movie becomes rated R.
- Previous directors and their styles.
- Directing the last two movies.
- Pressures of fandom.
- Different hair styles and how they’re chosen.
- Directing intense scenes.
- Scenes he was nervous about filming.
- Learning as a director from his cast, he shares he believes Kristen will become a director soon, since she’s very knowledgeable of technical aspects of filmmaking.

“The last day of filming definitely was emotional because Peter Facinelli and I wrapped at the exact same moment. … It was Facinelli, Ashley [Greene], Kellan [Lutz], Jackson [Rathbone] and myself, and we were up in Squamish [British Colombia] just doing stunts and night shoots, and then they finally wrapped Peter and I,” she recalled. “We were just completely shocked and hugging, and then we went out and we had a little meal together.
Nikki and Elizabeth joked that Rob was the most emotional cast member:
“Rob [Pattinson]‘s probably a mess after ending this,” Reed said with a smile.
“Rob cried a lot, actually,” Reaser added.
“He shaved his head over it,” Reed joked, making light of Pattinson’s curious new coiffure. “He was crying so hard he had to cut all of his hair. … A therapist should be called,” she teased.
