The latest issue of Tú has a new, great interview with Taylor Lautner for his movie Abduction. It’s the same issue that also features an interview with Rob, so if you live in Mexico pick it up asap! The magazine also features a huge poster of Bride Bella.
How did you get involved in this movie?
I had a meeting with one of the producers and he mentioned several projects. I told him “This is my favorite one, please call me as soon as you have the script because I have to read it.” Finally, after over a year I got the call and they said “Guess what?, we have the script! We would love it if you read it.”. As soon as I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. From that point on, I knew Abduction would be my next movie.
Was it hard to get into the character of Nathan?
It was easy at first. He’s a normal kid. But it was harder to connect with him the minute he realizes his life is a lie. As I was filming these scenes I kept asking myself what I’d do if I was in his position, if my parents were not who I thought they were, where I would start to look for answers, who could I trust…
What was the hardest scene to film?
The boxing sequence with Jason Isaacs. The fight is long, we both had to synchronize our movements and be careful not to punch each other in the face. In boxing is a challenge to pretend to punch.
And you most favorite?
The one where I’m on the trunk of a car, the one where I’m flying in the middle of the highway, or in the end where I slide though a glass structure inside the baseball stadium. It was like a giant slide.
Nathan’s dad punishes him because he throws a crazy party. Did your parents ever punish you?
The grounded me for failing Math, maybe. That was the worst thing I ever did. i’ve never been a party person, it’s not my style. But it was fun filming the party. I did take one too many energy drinks (laughs).
How long did you prepare for your boxing scenes?
I trained for three months. I learned boxing, riding a bike and wrestling.
Did you watch other action movies for inspiration?
I chose a few starring my favorite actors. Minority Report with Tom Cruise, The Fugitive with Harrison Ford, The Bourne saga with Matt Damon.
Abduction came out today in Mexico. Make sure you check it out!

15 a 20 magazine has new pictures of Taylor Lautner meeting fans outside of his hotel in Mexico city. This is something he only did in Mexico, and not in any other city he visited! The magazine confirms an anecdote we revealed to you exclusively during Taylor’s visit: a fan passed out just as she was about to interview him for a magazine! Another fun fact: the guy in the white shirt is our very own Gabo, who writes for the Spanish blog .
Kristen is on the cover of Glamour (US) and she looks stunning! Check out the scans via @epnebelle. We’ll try to get clearer scans as soon as we can. There’s a lovely new picture with Stephenie Meyer, Taylor, Rob and Kristen from the very first movie! Eclipse! And of course, there’s an interview with her too.
Here’s Taylor hilarious interview with Spanish variety show El Hormiguero. As you know, he’s in Spain promoting Abduction, and fans were so happy for his visit that he was all day yesterday among the Spanish trending topics on Twitter.
According to El Universal, Chris Weitz will open El Festival de Cine de Morelia in Mexico on October 15 with his movie A Better Life. Chris, and the star of the movie Demian Bichir are expected to attend.

Translation:
What did you like the most about the book?
Before ever reading the book or the screenplay, Francis took me to the elephant shelter where Tai lives. I think it was a trick, he knew he could convince any actor to take the role after meeting her. I stayed with her playing ball, and that’s how I took the part.
What was it like training and working with Tai?
She has an amazing aura. You feel at ease when you’re with her. I could sit wit her all day, in fact I did that a lot when I first met her. She would never stomp on you or hurt you. She knows where you are all the time. She’s a charming animal.
Have you always been kind to animals?
I had a dog named Patty for 18 years. I adopted a new dog in Louisiana, where we were filming Breaking Dawn. He looks like a hyena and he’s very nice, I’m very comfortable with him. It’s nice to always have a pet around when I’m in hotels.
Your character didn’t finish college but he attended Cornell. Have you ever thought of going to college?
Doubtful. When I was planning to go to college I wanted to study International Relations because I was interested in politics. I think I have the ability for that. I would like to work with a newly formed democracy. That’s exciting.
Lucky for the fans you’re an actor. How do you manage the image your image of movie beau?
It’s nice to feel appreciated. You hope it has more to do with you than with people’s imagination. The only thing you can do is to try to do a better job next time. Nobody ever thought I was goodlooking before Twilight. It’s weird when everybody feels that way now.
You’re in good shape. Do you work out a lot?
During the last Twilight film we shot I was on the gym a lot because I had to take my shirt off for the movie. I was obsessed with working out. As soon as the shirtless scenes were done filming I quit the gym and never came back (laughs).
What’s the thing that makes you the most happy? In what place are you truly happy?
I love playing music with other people. I played with the jazz Preservation Hall Band in New Orleans and as I played the piano I kept thinking “Why am I not doing this all the time?”. It was amazing. It makes me happy in everyway to play blues.
Do you still write your own music?
I try not to, but I’m doing it again. In order to do that you need to stop what you’re doing and focus on your music for at least 6 months, and I can’t afford that right now. To write music I need to be exremely depresed, wake up in tears and then I write a song (laughs).
Any guilty pleasures?
M&Ms, it’s ridiculous. I eat 40 bags a week. It used to be peanut M&Ms, now it’ just plain chocolate M&Ms. I praise M&Ms and tell everybody “They’re too good for you though…”.
Do you miss London, your home?
I miss the newspapers. I still prefer the English newspapers and I miss the sports section. I miss football, I miss the light in London. It sounds ridiculous but the light in london is so different than in any other place. I miss the beer. I worked there last year, and it felt like I could’ve been working anywhere. Six days a week of work, you could be working in Korea and not tell the difference.
Peter Facinelli is not a doctor, he just plays one on TV. And in the Twilight movies. That doesn’t stop him from giving medical advice as a joke to his co-stars. He recently shared this funny story via MusicRooms.net:
“She spilled something on her belly and a had a little burn so I looked at it for her and I told her to put some kind of salve on it and I was telling how to treat it so that it wouldn’t scar or anything. It was funny,”
He also talked about wrapping up the movies:
“[I’ll miss] where the whole Cullen family is together,” he told the American edition of OK! magazine. “I think there is something magical about all of us being dressed up in costumes and doing those scenes. I will miss that because that I know, even if I work with the other actors again, it will be different. There is something really interesting about having all of us together in a room.”
Kristen Stewart continues to film Snow White and the Huntsman . This morning she filmed what seem like very intense pictures at the same beach where she filmed the army scenes yesterday. She also had some moving scenes with her white horse, and we’re assuming this is a scene where the horse gets hurt.
Our very own Gerardo (you might know him as the person behind our kick-ass mobile blog and gallery, among many other technical aspects of the site) attended the Abduction premiere and other press events in Madrid this morning and took the most amazing exclusive pictures that we can’t wait for you to check out!
Taylor was in a great mood according to Gerardo. He did one-on-one interviews all morning, and around noon (Madrid time) the first photocall took place, note before changing into a different outfit. He greeted the photographers with a friendly “Hola!” and posed for pictures. There were several fans outside the hotel who stayed for hours with the hopes of seeing Taylor. Meanwhile, Taylor did more interviews inside the hotel for hours.
The premiere took place on the other side of the city a few hours later. Gerardo only had time to eat before rushing off and check in at the red carpet. Taylor shot the program El Hormiguero, a variety show, before the premiere. He arrived at 8:30 PM, Madrid time, and took his time signing autographs and posing with fans who had been saving spots for the fan area 5 hours before the premiere. People were going crazy for him. Gerardo was inside the theater waiting for Taylor to walk by the second photocall area. After talking to the TV crews and other press press, and signing for even more fans, Taylor walked inside the theater where Gerardo snapped more pictures.
There’s a video too that I’ll add to the post in a bit, in the meantime enjoy the dozens and dozens of pictures. If you’re on your phone, you can save your favorites by using our mobile gallery.
Note to webmasters: Please take a couple of pictures and link back to the rest. Thank you!
Update: here’s a video of the fans at the premiere waiting for Taylor:
