So far all the artists are a big surprise, but they still keep the same sound that made the Twilight soundtracks famous. Listen to the artists and their other previous work after the jump, in case you’re not familiar with them.

The Belle Brigade is an American vocal and instrumental duo consisting of siblings. Their first LA Times review described them as “A defiant, classically structured song about being sick of social games, pretense and irony, “Losers” feels like one of those works of alienation that’s existed forever, one that would ring true just as clearly had it been released in 1957 or 1974.”

Aqualung & Lucy Schwartz are paired up for this song. Lucy is an up and coming 20 year-old singer that has recorded albums produced by the same people who produced Paul McCartney and Elvis Costello. Aqualung is the nickname of Matthew “Matt” Hales, a singer songwriter from London. His music has been featured in several ads in Britain, as well as TV shows. His genre is pop.

Mia Maestro will play Carmen, and now the mystery of which cast member is involved in the soundtrack has been solved. People had speculated about Jackson Rathbone and hoped for Robert Pattinson, but we now have the answer. Apparently Mia will sing the Spanish version of Bruno Mars’ It Will Rain.

What do you think of the new artists? So far, I’m satisfied. Their sound is exactly what we would expect for Twilight, and the surprises we found are good surprises in my opinion. They make the soundtrack more diverse and fun.

Note: We couldn’t find Cider Sky info or sound clips.
