Here is our exclusive coverage from the promo events in Madrid today with Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone! Our co-webmaster Gerardo attended two photocalls, red carpet and the fan Q and A panel and photographed every minute with exclusive access. There’s still some video footage to post but Ger really needed to rest, so you can expect that tomorrow.
Highlights:
Spanish Press loved Nikki and Jackson. They kept calling them beautiful and very down to earth. Press was impressed with how they didn’t just pass over the red carpet signing to a few fans quickly, but how they actually signed to everybody. They said they had never seen other celebrities do that. They also pointed out how despite they were signing to hundreds of fans, they never seemed tired.
Jackson shared that he loves soccer and he was rooting for Spain during the World Cup last year, even wore a scarf.
Jackson was a crowd pleaser. He stayed the longest outside with fans, signed for fans inside (which wasn’t allowed, but he said rules were meant to be broken), he sang for fans inside the panel, danced flamenco and sang Happy Birthday to a fan.
They shared that during the wedding scene, Rob cellphone went off loudly. Everytime they mentioned Rob, fans screamed as if he was there.
Nikki said she loves Spanish culture.
Gerardo congratulated her on her marriage and she happily answered “Thank you!”. Paul McDonald was there, you can see him in the fan panel pictures.
Nikki said her favorite film is Twilight, Jackson said it was Eclipse.
