Anna Kendrick Discusses Her Final Days On The Twilight Set And Rob and Kristen’s Fame

Thursday, September 15th, 2011

Anna spoke with iVillage about her last Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and how Rob and Kristen handle their fame.

Have you learned anything from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart about dealing with the media attention?
I have no idea how they stay sane with all that kind of attention. I know, knock wood, I’ve been able to avoid that kind of thing. I’m just in awe of their ability to handle that stuff.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes out in November, and it’s your last Twilight film. How do you feel?
At the end of the shoot, it felt celebratory. It wasn’t sad. It was like a job well done. It was also like 5 a.m. It was a long night and we were just sort of glad that everyone managed to make it through five movies without losing any toes to frostbite. I’m sure I’ll feel nostalgic once the movie comes out, but mostly it’s exciting that we made it through without any serious injuries.

Everyone’s talking about the wedding scene. What was that like?
There has been so much build-up about it. But I’m sure that if I say a word about it, (the movie company) will have me killed. So, I will just say I hope we look warm because we were all really cold.

The Creative Coalition CEO, Robin Bronk said, “The range of work from this year’s honorees is a true testament to why we created the Spotlight Initiative Award. Actors and filmmakers are under no obligation to use film as a venue to educate audiences on social issues, but our 2011 class of recipients has done a masterful job in doing so throughout their respective careers.”

Congratulations to Ashley and Anna!

Anna Kendrick Is On Breaking Dawn!

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

We were a little worried and wondered if Anna would be part of Breaking Dawn, since she’s been very quiet about it and answered reporters questions with a mysterious “I don’t know” last year when asked if she would be back for the final movies. Then all the humans turned to their Twitter accounts to talk about how excited they were about returning to the set, except her, who remained quiet again. Well, the mystery is over. Here’s Anna returning from Lousiana yesterday with Christian Serratos.

Glad to have you back, Anna! It’s not the same without you!
