Sunday, March 24th, 2013Ashley Greene is halfway through the Hogwarts alumni list when it comes to co-stars. First she worked with former Hufflepuff, Rob. Then she moved on to former Slytherin, Tom Felton, and now she finished a movie with former Gryffindor Rupert Grint. Nobody in the Twilight cast has worked with so many Potter Kids, and we get the feeling that this is not the last time she co-stars with one of them. A unique honor! Here’s a behind the scenes video of her upcoming movie CBGB based on the famous NYC club.
Speaking of Ashley, she recently went through a very tragic event. On Friday morning her apartment burned down and one of her beloved doggies perished in the fire. Luckily, Ashley and her other dog are fine, but she’s certainly going through a very tough time right now, so send your good vibes to her and tweet her nice things: @AshleyMGreene. It must be a very traumatic event to survive the fire that burns down your home, and to lose everything you have, including your beloved pet. We send you all our love, Ashley!

Great news for South African Twilight fans – you’re getting your own promo tour stop! For the first time ever, a cast member is visiting the country to promote a Twilight movie, and according to Channel24 in South Africa, it’s Ashley Greene!
Johannesburg – South African Twi-hards are in for a rare treat.
Ashley Greene, who plays psychic vampire Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga, will be visiting South Africa at the end of October as part of the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 global tour to promote the film’s release on 16 November, Nu Metro announced on Wednesday.
Ashley will visit the country to participate in media interviews as well as an exclusive fan event.
Nu Metro Films will be hosting this fan event at Nu Metro Montecasino in Johannesburg on Thursday, 25 October which will offer fans an opportunity to relive the previous instalment of the saga, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, followed by a Q&A session with Ashley herself.
Tickets for the event will go on sale on 12 October at 09:00 and will cost R100 per person. The cost includes access to the screening, a welcome drink and snacks, plus a collectible Twilight premium and Coke and popcorn.
The event will start at 18:00, with the Ashley Greene Q&A following after the screening of the film. Tickets will be available through the Nu Metro website or via the box office at Nu Metro Montecasino.
Meanwhile, the site claims that Taylor Lautner is headed for Brazil, while Kellan and Nikki are headed Scotland and Ireland. We’ll keep you posted!
