And speaking of our gallery we just surpassed the 120,000 files mark! Our gallery has had over 10 million hits since we opened it four years ago and it was the first major feature on our site, long before we opened our blog. We started posting files and all the updates from the set of the very first movie. We’ve added everything including the cast’s other projects and their public appearances/sightings and photoshoots. We have also added our own contributions to the fandom with hundreds of scans including Spanish magazines not found anywhere else, live HQ screencaps taken straight from the TV during award shows, and we have personally taken hundreds of exclusive pictures at events, everything from fan events to official photocalls, premieres, press conferences and red carpets in Los Angeles, San Diego, Mexico city, Madrid and New York (Stephenie Meyer once told me at the LA Premiere of Twlight that we had the best pictures ). The gallery is also available for iPhone, Blackberry and Android and in different screen resolutions so you don’t miss anything while you’re not at home. The gallery is also located on a very large server, so we’re never down or slow.
We want to make sure that you find all the pictures that you want (though we stay clear of paparazzi pictures taken during the cast’s time off) and that you share this gallery with all your Twihard friends, so make sure you do! Big thanks to everyone for supporting the gallery, thanks to the fans who share pics with us and those who credit us for the stuff we share. That’s how it works! Keep enjoying the gallery, and expect a new look soon. I think a new layout is long overdue.
After the big controversy of getting only two nominations this year – because MTV wanted to be a more serious award show – it’s really nice to see that fans were not taking no for an answer and voted harder than ever so this movie was recognized. The results were not surprising – we stole the night once more. And while Rob and Kristen were not nominated for their performances, and Kristen’s terrific CGI vampire transformation was ignored as was the cast’s ensemble nomination, we managed to take the biggest prize of the night. Twihards, we rock.
We’re finally getting more news on the Twilight saga. Entertainment Weekly reveals the cover of The Twilight Saga: The Complete Film Archive! The book hits shelves on 10/9/12, just in time for the release of Breaking Dawn: Part 2. It’s packed with photos, tales from the set and tons more. Here’s the article.
Inside you’ll find:
Removable script pages
Reproductions of screening passes
It’s that time of the year again and we need all the teen fans to vote for Breaking Dawn, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinsonand Taylor Lautner at the Teen Choice Awards! Remember you can vote everyday (one vote per category per day)!
You might have heard about a Twilight auction on eBay for what they say
is a REAL pillow from the Breaking Dawn honeymoon scenes. It comes
complete with makeup stains from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart… for the low price of $2999.99. Check out Kaleb’s take on this.
The MTV Movie Awards nominations have been announced and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has two nominations only: Best Kiss and Best Movie, leaving fans absolutely confused and upset. No Best Actor for Rob or Taylor, no Best Actress for Kristen, no Best Cast, no Best On-screen Transformation (really?!), no Best Gut-Wrenching Performance and no Best Music. We’re generally used to Twilight stealing the show every year, and it seems that MTV has been meaning to put an axe to that by changing the way categories are decided, and how fans vote and take over their awards show. We knew this was coming when it was announced that a new nomination method would be happening for this year’s award show in an effort to give more prestige to the awards. Instead of nominations being decided by MTV’s own producers and executives, a panel of industry insiders, billed as “a voting academy” of producers, directors, actors and agents, were assigned the task of deciding the contenders for the 12 revamped award categories, which are the final nominees that you can vote for now. In some categories, no fan vote is allowed, for instance Breakthrough Performance. MTV has decided that the nomination and win will depend on the vote of outstanding directors. Other categories like Best Villain were axed.
Fans were completely devastated because we they looking forward to supporting the movie and cast in one of the few platforms that allows us to do that. MTV has supported Twilight for almost four years, and it return Twilight fans have taken over polls (remember that time Cosmopolis beat The Hunger Games as the Most Anticipated movie of 2012?), turning their cast-related videos into their most watched content, and always expressing great enthusiasm when there’s a new special like MTV First. It’s especially sad that we might not get to do that all the way to the last Twilight movie because of this new voting method.
Now the question remains, will the cast attend the awards show since there’s no other big nominations for them? Will you be watching the show this year? Do you feel betrayed by MTV? Let us know!
In the meantime, let’s keep voting! And congratulations to Twilight alumni Bryce Dallas Howard who is nominated for Best Gut-Wrenching Performance and Best On-Screen Dirtbag for The Help.

Bella’s gorgeous wedding dress designed by Carolina Herrera is on Marie Claire’s list Greatest Movie Dresses of All Time. The dress is in amazing company with memorable numbers like: Kate Winslet’s beaded dress from Titanic, Julia Robert’s red dress from Pretty Woman, Grace Kelly’s dress from to Catch a Thief, Aurora’s magical dress from Sleeping Beauty, Princess Leia’s gold bikini from Return of the Jedi, Audrey Hepburn’s dress from My Fair Lady and Sabrina, and Marilyn Monroe’s iconic pink dress from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.
We admit it: in our vampire-loving hearts, Bella Swan’s onscreen wedding dress was more exciting than Kate Middleton’s — and Pippa’s — real-life Royal Wedding ensemble combined. Designed by Carolina Herrera, Bella’s gown is a sleek creation of crepe satin, French Chantilly lace and 152 covered buttons with a cut-down-to-there keyhole back (the better to tempt her otherworldly guests with). The CH original comes with a hefty $35,000 price tag, but for you Twihards, the Alfred Angelo knock-off clocks in at just $799. (Just BYO Edward).
