Sam Claflin plays the Prince in Snow White and the Huntsman. He recently revealed he was a fan of Macrus Foster and had no idea Kristen knew him!
“There is a guy called Marcus Foster. Basically a guy played at my birthday, this sort of big musician who I love, and I went to go and see him at another gig, and supporting him was Marcus Foster. So, I went backstage and to meet Marcus, and he was telling me about this music video that he’s about to do that Kristen [Stewart] has just starred in. Then when I saw Kristen next, I said, ‘I can’t believe you did that. You know him and he knows you, and he knows Rob [Pattinson].’ So, again, it’s all this small world. So namely him, but I think — I have a feeling our sort of music tastes are very much in tune.”
It appears one Robert Pattinson is a friend and it transpires Marcus was at school with the Twilight star.
“Yes I was. We’re good friends, and have been for a long time,” he says. “It’s mad what’s happened to him. I’ve met Kristen Stewart through him, who stars in my latest video (I Was Broken). I asked, and she said she’d do it.”
Kristen Stewart stars in Marcus Foster’s first music video and we now have the music video in HD! Marcus is one of Rob’s best friend, and according to ThisIsLondon, the video was a product of friends working together, because actor Tom Sturridge, Rob’s other best friend, wrote a script for the video!
Foster, 25, who has a debut album coming out this month, enlisted Kristen Stewart to star in his new video, launching today on YouTube. And growing up in south-west London, Robert Pattinson – Stewart’s co-star in the vampire movies franchise – was Foster’s best friend at Harrodian School in Barnet.
The Boat That Rocked star Tom Sturridge, whose siblings were fellow pupils, became another pal. So when Foster got a record deal and decided the first single, I Was Broken, from the album needed a boost, Sturridge devised a script and Stewart responded quickly to an email request to star.
“I called in favours. I’m really lucky,” Foster said. The video was wrapped up in five days in Kentish Town last week. The single is out on September 19 with the album, Nameless Path, a week later.
One of Rob’s best friends Marcus Foster talked about him in a new interview. He talked about Jeff Buckley, a character that Rob was up to play before it was given to actor/singer Reeve Carney, and he talked about the song “I was broken”.
And the awards and records keep coming for the Twilight Saga! The latest honor for Twilight is a nomination for a Grammy in the category Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media .

Marcus Foster spoke to Radar Online about his friend Robert and Kristen who are under serious scrutiny from press and fans since Twilight hit big last year. Marcus wants everyone to back off and leave them alone.
In the first part of an exclusive interview with Marcus Foster, the best friend of Rob Pattinson tells RadarOnline.com what it’s like to be buds with the man of the moment.
Twilight fans know that Marcus and Bobby Long co-authored the song Let Me Sign which Rob performed on the movie soundtrack, and that Marcus is part of the Brit Pack, those scruffy haired hot British guys who make up the inner circle in RPattz’s life.
The musician tells RadarOnline.com that he almost cut off his thumb on Wednesday night: “I was just making something in the workshop and my thumb went through this machine called a band saw, and it nearly took my thumb off. I’ve got a sculpture show I’m working on this week; I’m making some things for that. It’s ok, it’s fine I didn’t need stitches or anything and it will heal but it just means I’m going to have to cancel this show I’m doing on Sunday. I’ve got to cancel it today. I could do it, but I can’t take the risk of a long term injury.” We were first concerned about blood everywhere, and Marcus bravely says “Yes, it was quite horrific but it’s alright. It’s only pain,” but we were clearly concerned with Edward trying to kill him for his blood. “Yeah, well, I don’t think he is a vampire,” the musician sagely tells us. “That is just a movie. Although, maybe he was, that’s how he got the part!” As for being best friends with the star, Marcus gets perks that regular folks don’t get. “Rob’s showed me a bit of the script, I think it’s the beginning where she cuts her thumb,” he says, referring to Bella’s birthday scene where she cuts her finger. So we want to know, was he just reenacting that scene? “Oh yeah, my life is just reenacting Twilight scenes. It’s mad!” he jokes.
Before he kicks off his American tour, Marcus tells RadarOnline.com that he’s “going to New York as well in a couple of weeks to see my friend Rob which will be nice.” He doesn’t know if he’ll be hanging on set with Rob, but it sounds like they’re just going to lay low. “We’re just going to chill out I think, I haven’t seen him for a while.” Marcus didn’t know about the craziness that is Rob’s life since he’s been in New York so when we told him about his buddy he said “Really? Wow, that’s so weird. Well, we’ll probably just stay inside the apartment and just drink, heavily.” As for the fame that’s come to the stars, Marcus hasn’t seen a change in Rob. “Whenever I see him he’s the same, which is great. You know, you see people who fame changes, but it’s great, Rob is still the same old guy so it’s really nice. “
