MTV caught up with Anna Kendrick at the premiere of 50/50. They asked her about Breaking Dawn and vamp sex:
“I haven’t seen it yet,” Anna admitted. “I’m just as excited as the fans to see it because I haven’t seen any of it myself.”
And then we made her squirm by asking about THE VAMPIRE SEX.
“Oh, yeah. It’s like a whole thing,” Anna conceded. “Now I’m uncomfortable. It’s one thing to read about it…”
She also shared that she never met Bryce Dallas Howard, her 50/50 co-star, during the filming of Eclipse:
“I finally met Bryce on this set,” she enthused. “I have never met her through ‘Twilight’ at all. And it was great to finally be able to meet her. I still have yet to work with her, so that’s my actual dream.”
50/50 is getting great reviews, so make sure you catch that when you can!

Anna Kendrick was interviewed by The Orlando Sentinel, and she talked about Taylor Lautner, wrapping up Twilight and singing in her next movie.
On finishing Breaking Dawn and the Twilight saga: “You know, when we finished, it felt celebratory. It didn’t feel maudlin. We’d made it through these crazy movies without losing any fingers or toes to frostbite. It felt like Mission: Accomplished.”
On Taylor Lautner: “Taylor Lautner is a more responsible adult than anybody I’ve ever met. At one point, during Oscar season, he saw me at a party with a friend, both of us older than Taylor. And as he leaves, he says ‘You kids have fun tonight.’ I was like, ‘You need to be president, someday, sir.’ I marvel at his maturity.”
On Pitch Perfect, her next movie: “I’m not allowed to talk about it yet, don’t want to jinx it. I feel like I should be seeing a voice coach. I’ve let it slide. But now that you mention it, I’m going to get right on that.”

Anna spoke with iVillage about her last Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn Part 1 and how Rob and Kristen handle their fame.
Have you learned anything from Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart about dealing with the media attention?
I have no idea how they stay sane with all that kind of attention. I know, knock wood, I’ve been able to avoid that kind of thing. I’m just in awe of their ability to handle that stuff.
Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes out in November, and it’s your last Twilight film. How do you feel?
At the end of the shoot, it felt celebratory. It wasn’t sad. It was like a job well done. It was also like 5 a.m. It was a long night and we were just sort of glad that everyone managed to make it through five movies without losing any toes to frostbite. I’m sure I’ll feel nostalgic once the movie comes out, but mostly it’s exciting that we made it through without any serious injuries.
Everyone’s talking about the wedding scene. What was that like?
There has been so much build-up about it. But I’m sure that if I say a word about it, (the movie company) will have me killed. So, I will just say I hope we look warm because we were all really cold.

Ashley Greene and Anna Kendrick are honorees for the 2011 Spotlight Initiative Awards for the Toronto Film Festival. Here’s the official announcement:
The Creative Coalition is pleased to announce that Ashley Greene (Butter, Twilight), Anna Kendrick (50/50, Up in the Air), David Paymer (Twixt, The American President), Morgan Spurlock (Comic Con: Episode IV – A Fan’s Hope, Super Size Me) and Roland Emmerich (Anonymous, 2012) have been named as honorees for the 2011 Spotlight Initiative Awards. The awards will be bestowed to honorees during the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival.
The dinner honoring this year’s recipients will be attended by influential players from the arenas of art and entertainment and takes place on Saturday evening, September 10th at the Roosevelt Room.
Representing all aspects from the world of independent filmmaking, the 2011 class of honorees embodies the tenets of The Creative Coalition’s Spotlight Initiative. The Spotlight Initiative was created in 2008 to support independent films with messages that make a positive difference in the world and celebrate the art and craft of filmmaking for their social relevance.
The Creative Coalition CEO, Robin Bronk said, “The range of work from this year’s honorees is a true testament to why we created the Spotlight Initiative Award. Actors and filmmakers are under no obligation to use film as a venue to educate audiences on social issues, but our 2011 class of recipients has done a masterful job in doing so throughout their respective careers.”
Congratulations to Ashley and Anna!
