Cinematical has some quotes from Kristen after watching the Eclipse trailer.
When I asked if either of them got to see the trailer, Stewart and Fanning turned to one another for reactions. “Did you watch it?” Stewart asked Fanning.
“No, I didn’t,” Fanning replied. “I watched it,” Stewart said with enthusiasm. When I prodded her for specific feelings, she said, “Well, it’s really fast, isn’t it? It’s sort of like a couple of pictures strung together. But it looks good – it looks good! I think Taylor [Lautner] looks really great. Like, he looks very strong and I love his voice in it,” she said. “He’s good in it.”

Peter Facinelli spoke to British E! about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, and whether or not Breaking Dawn will be a two part movie:
“It’s a very thick book. I think that two movies would be a good thing for the franchise. I support it, but ultimately it’s up to what Summit decides,” Peter chatted, though he seemed to pick his words very carefully. “I’m having a great time with the franchise, so if we get to do two more that would be fun.”
on Eclipse:
“The battle in Eclipse was superfun. We got to do a lot of fight training and choreography, and I’m looking forward to the fans seeing that. They get to see the Cullens in a way they’ve never seen them before,” the star mysterious teased.
Peter was proud to boast of his stunt work too, claiming, “I tried to do as much as I could, or as much as they allowed me to do. If I didn’t go home with a bruise, I didn’t feel like I put in a good day’s work.”

In a quick interview for MTV Kellan said he’s already seen some of Eclipse and the action is badass.
‘The action really drew me in and I think the guys are really going to like this movie,’ actor says. “Eclipse” will be hitting a theater near you on June 30 and one of the film’s stars, Kellan Lutz, insisted that the film will be the perfect date-night flick. Why? Well, according to him, the third installment of the “Twilight Saga” has plenty of action to keep the boyfriends of the world entertained.
“I did [see some of 'Eclipse'] … and it’s badass,” Lutz told MTV News on the red carpet at Cosmopolitan magazine’s 2010 Fun Fearless Males party. “The action really drew me in and I think the guys are really going to like this movie.”

Sad news, everyone. Muse will not appear in the soundtrack of the third movie of the Twilight saga. The band that inspired Stephenie Meyer when she was writing the Twilight books, and who collaborated with two tracks in Twilight and New Moon respectively, has decided to not return this time around despite already having an untitled song for the movie. The band explains that the decision has nothing to do with Stephenie Meyer:
“Oh, it’s nothing to do with Stephenie, she’s totally cool,” says Howard, beginning to explain how Muse have potentially broken their Twilight hat-trick. “It’s the people in the movie business, completely outside of the writers and the creative types, the non-creative types I suppose are the people who are quite hard to deal with in Hollywood, so it didn’t work out.”
As for the original tune in question, which remains untitled, Howard says it would have fit Eclipse like Edward on Bella — even though it wasn’t directly inspired by the books or movies.
“It was a love song, so it’s a personal song, and it wasn’t really to do with the films. But it was sounding good,” he says.
Muse still plans to release it, says Howard, even if you won’t hear it on the Eclipse soundtrack. (Maybe you can just play it over the make-out scenes once the flick hits DVD.)
“Yeah, yeah, we sure will [release it]. I mean, it was great. We worked on it in Australia, we were ready to record, we were going to do some recording with Butch Vig, so we might still do it,” he says. “I’m sure the song will definitely come to life for real at some point, but I think for this film it’s not going to happen.”
But Stewart had some apprehensions about shooting that scene. She didn’t want the scenario of two teens, one being a vampire who happens to be many years older than his facade of 17, deciding to marry one another to look silly or unbelievable.
“Well, to decide you’re gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision,” she told MTV News from the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie, “The Yellow Handkerchief.” “And I didn’t want to look stupid. I didn’t want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?”
Stewart said she had to find an emotional space that allowed her to make a teenage engagement seem plausible. “I wanted to be, like, ‘Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!’ You know what I mean? So I don’t know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright.”
The actress also shared which scenes she’d like to see appear in the “Eclipse” trailer that’s set to premiere in March during showings of Pattinson’s “Remember Me.” “Oh, my gosh! There’s a really cool thing that happens on a cliff with Jacob that should definitely be in there,” she explained. “Battle stuff. I would say the [newborn vampires]. The newborns are going to look awesome.”

“Really? Oh my god! I have no idea!” Stewart told MTV News at the premiere of her latest release, “The Yellow Handkerchief.” “I didn’t even know it was coming out, so … that’s news to me too!”
Stewart did have an idea of what she’s eager to see in the trailer for the third “Twilight” installment. “Oh, my gosh! There’s a really cool thing that happens on a cliff with Jacob that should definitely be in there,” she explained. “Battle stuff. I would say the [newborn vampires]. The newborns are going to look awesome.”

Reel Empire has this little tidbit that Peter shared during the official Twilight convention in Tenessee:
“What I loved about Eclipse was that you get to see a side of Carlisle you haven’t seen before. The Cullens have all these abilities, but they have to hide them most of the time.” Obviously excited about finally getting the chance to display his awesome capabilities, he added, “There are some really great battle sequences in Eclipse.”
Really looking forward to those battle scenes and more of the Cullens!

The Boston Globe has an interview with Julia Jones, who will play Leah Clearwater in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Here’s an excerpt:
Jones plays Leah Clearwater, the only female werewolf in the pack, a mostly miserable young woman who is cursed with the power to read the mind of her ex-boyfriend — who has fallen in love with someone else. Jones explains that Meyer’s detailed portrait of Leah helped her fall in love with the angsty, supernatural character.
“Because Stephenie Meyer wrote the layers, you’re kind of serving something else,’’ says Jones, who had a small role on NBC’s “ER’’ and acted in a few indie films before landing the role in “Eclipse.’’ “Usually you’re looking for any clue you can in a script – usually it’s skeletal, because it’s not prose. But in this case, there’s 3,000 pages of detail.’’
Jones has perfected the art of the brooding werewolf frown, but in real life she has a sweet smile and a quick, dry sense of humor. She grew up in Jamaica Plain, summered on the Cape, and graduated from Boston Latin School. Her mother still lives on one of those pretty roads that connects Centre Street to the Jamaicaway.
“The cool thing about it is that there’s a pond on one end of our street – I grew up sailing on it – and on the other end of the street there were housing developments,’’ Jones says during a visit to her agent’s office in Los Angeles after returning from “Eclipse’’ filming in Vancouver.
