Huge news for Taylor Lautner fans – turns out that he has dropped out of Stretch Armstrong, what would’ve been his next big project with Hasbro and Relativity Media. The movie is still in the works, but Taylor has decided to leave it behind in favor of a new movie with Oscar-winner Gus Van Sant (who was in the running to direct Breaking Dawn). We’re convinced that this was the smartest move for him. The Wrap reports:
“Stretch Armstrong” was originally in development at Universal, which was eyeing a 2012 release for the film. Lautner was on tap to earn a reported $7.5 million for the movie.
Taylor also dropped out before of “Max Steel” and the extreme flying story “Northern Lights.” His next project is “Incarceron”, currently in pre-production.
Taylor Lautner to be Part of Jimmy Fallon’s Guests for Super Bowl Episodes

Guests for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’s post-Super Bowl shows have been revealed and Taylor Lautner is one of them! Taylor will be part ofthe Feb. 1-3 episodes, broadcasting from Indianapolis’ Hilbert Circle Theatre.
It was announced earlier this week that NBC would be rolling out comprehensive Super Bowl coverage leading up to the big game, a matchup between the New York Giants and New England Patriots. This marks the first time Late Night With Jimmy Fallon has hit the road for shows since Fallon took the reins in 2009.

Taylor Lautner Confirmed for People’s Choice Awards, Kristen Stewart Will Not Attend

The People’s Choice Awards are tomorrow night, so check your local listings! Someone who we’ll miss is, sadly, Kristen Stewart. Gossip Cop confirms she will not attend the show, despite previous speculation.
So, is Stewart really going to be at the People’s Choice Awards?
Nope.
A source close to the star tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the pictured seating chart is “bulls**t.”
The insider says they wanted “a headshot of [Stewart] for a skit,” but it’s unclear whether they’ll actually be doing the skit or not.
And there you have it. Best of luck to Rob and Taylor, and I hope that Twilight fans voted so our stars clean the house as usual!
