Twilight Halloween Cullen Costume Ideas

This is the clothing guide for the Twilight characters. Here I'll show you similar clothing items to what the characters wear in the movies. If I can provide with the exact same item they used in the movie, I'll post it. Otherwise, I'll suggest items that look the same. These items can be found on any clothing store, that's why I'll keep it as general as possible. So that everyone can find the same look no matter where they shop.

The Alice Look in Twilight - Vintage Dress

According to the costume desginers for the movie: “Alice is the kooky, artistic one in the book so there’s a lot that’s inspired by vintage”

To make the point that the Cullens are immortal and have been living for a few decades, the movie stylists make them wear vintage clothes with a modern twist. Alice wears a cute dress with a long knit sweater. Dark colors are a must.

You need to look for a strapless dress, cut above the knee. A long knit sweater, darker than the dress.

The Alice Look in Twilight - Alice at school

All you need is a white cotton shirt. Make sure it's very artsy and full of hippy details on the front and on the sleeves. Make sure is not just any plain white cotton shirt.
Over the shirt you need to wear a blue vest, or at least darker than the shirt to make a nice contrast.

For pants, try to get some baby blue jeans.

The Alice Look in Twilight - Alice about to kick some butt

This look is less mellow and a lot more badass. You need to get some cool dark leather (or faux leather) jacket and dark denim pants.

Alice's Shoes

Alice wears ballerinas or flat shoes in the following colors:

Alice's Jewelry

For jewelry, Alice wears a choker with the Cullen crest. You can order Alice's official choker here on Amazon.
If you can't find the Cullen crest or of it's not available for sale where you live, you can use any regular velvet choker, with a cameo on it.

She also wears several silver bangles and vintage looking rings:

And also some silver bracelets with blue stones in them:

And that's it! You can wear your hair in some hip spikey way to finish the look even if your hair is not too short. You can flat iron it and just add lots of hairspray.

Alice's Look in New Moon - Dressy

Her look in this movie is darker, and edgier when it needs to be. It's also a bit more mature and less girly.

For this particular look you'll need a black blouse. Something sophisticted that you can mix with a dark vest. Wear black bottoms, either a black skirt or pants for full look. Black short boots for shoes.

Alice's Look in New Moon - School

This is when Alice's look is a bit edgier than usual. She wears knitted sleeves over her shirt white shirt, and blue coat over it with a blue scarf around her neck.

The final touch can be the official replica of Alice's choker. You can purchase that HERE on Amazon.con

The Rosalie Look in Twilight

According to the costume designers: Defined by their intimidating gracefulness and beauty, Emmett (in Express) and Rosalie (in a Guess jacket with Miss Sixty jeans) display a polished look while maintaining their high school cover. Instead of going for the stereotypical goth looks for the vampires, Chuck says, “We avoided black completely.” Instead she gravitated towards cool blue and gray tones to convey death and iciness.

For Rosalie's look the rules are basically the same: vintage clothes. Except in this case, she wears sexy things and high heels.

Under her coat she also wears cotton shirts like these:

She also wears white denim pants:

Rosalie's Shoes

Rosalie likes to wear sexy pumps and strappy shoes with vey high heels.

Rosalie's Jewelry

For jewelry Rosalie wears a large pendant with the Cullen crest in it. You can purchase the original Rosalie necklace on Amazon.com
If you can't find the Cullen crest you can use some oval silver pendant with a thick chain.

As for the hair I would recommend absolultely no wigs! Just curl your hair with hot rollers.

Rosalie's Look in New Moon - Casual.

Rosalie's look in New Moon is less dressy, and more youthful, but just as sophisticated and chic.

Rosalie's Look in New Moon - Dressy.

In the scene with Bella's brithday party, Rosalie wears the classic little black dress. This dress can either be strapless, or with very thing straps. Your call!

The Esme Look - Twilight

Esme's look is more mature and motherly. In Twilight, to be honest, I find her look a little boring. Check out her look in New Moon, I'm sure you'll agree with me: it's much better!

You can use this top with a skirt or a nice pair of pants. Just remember to only wear soft and colors. No black, brown, red, pink, etc.

The Esme Look - New Moon

Va-va-va-boom, Esme! This look is stunning, sexier and perfect for a Halloween party at night. People don't really need to dress something as something scary for Halloween, you can look like something supernatural and gorgeous like Esme!

You can wear Esme's bracelet, which you can purchase here at Amazon.

The Victoria Look - The Badass Nomad in Twilight

Victoria's look is very sexy, with some punk rock influences. According to the costume designers in the movie: “The nomads are a separate deal, the influence was rock and roll, bad-ass vampires,” says Chuck. “We came up with the idea that they are scavengers and take clothes from their kill.” Victoria, played by Rachel Lefevre, is shown here wearing Duarte pants, a sheepskin cape, a vintage tank top and a green tee, pieces of which were previously seen on a character she kills.

First you need to find a very cool green top, it can have some silly text in it. Under the green top you can wear a black tank top.

For pants you need some dark crop of boot-cut jeans.

Victoria's accesories

For this look you need leather accesories like bracelets and belts.

You're also going to need laced, elbow-length, fingerless gloves. Over them you're going to need a black leather sweatband. You only have to wear one.

The Victoria Look - The sexy nomad

This look is a lot more sexy, but it still keeps the rock influences.

What you need to get is a bustier or corset. It can be a leather bustier or any other materials you can find, but it has to be black. Put a fishnet shirt over/under and you're set. You're also going to need black leather pants and boots to match.

Victoria's Accesories

For this look you need to get some plain, fingerless elbow-length gloves:

The Victoria Look - The woman seeking for revenge in New Moon

Now, the character of Victoria is less dressy and chic than the Cullens. She wears outdoorsy, edgy and more comfortable stuff. Mostly because she spends her days trying to murder someone in the forests of Forks, she's just precious!

For her look this time around, try to wear darker clothes. She's a woman hurt and mourning the loss of her lover at the hands of those terrible Cullens, so wear dark tops and bottoms. Victoria also seems like she could be a rocker chic girl, so add as a final touch a black leather jacket, or a coat with some sort of faux fur. This shows her wild animalistic hunter side.

Jane's Look

Jane's clothes are dark and scary. Since she's been living for centuries and centuries, with vampires even older than her, she doesn't have the need to dress up and fit in with humans, like the Cullens. So the poor thing looks like she walked out of Renaissance fair of some sort. She wears a long black velvet coat over a dark little dress, since she's young and wears black shoes with no heels.

If you feel like going full Jane look you can rent one of these cloaks at any Halloween costumes store. You could try to buy your own, but one of these costs well over $100 dollars, the cheaps ones. I think it's best if you rent one and then added over it a black ribbon and tie it like a bow.
Jane also uses shorter velvet coats like these:

As a final touch, you can purchase the official Volturi necklace replica that she wears:

Aditional Twilight/Cullen/Volturi jewerly and apparel you might like to wear:

And that's it! Remember, you don't need to know the exact brands used in the movie. Try to find something similar at any store where you usually shop. If you notice, all of these clothes can be used again for other events or everyday life, so if you choose to go shopping after checking out this guide, it'll be for stuff you won't use just once. It will be money well spent!
