Here are all the interview so far of Rob in Sydney and their highlights.

Sydney Morning Herald:

On gaining experience from the franchise: “When you first sign on to something when you were nobody, you feel like everything’s totally out of control. Once you’ve experienced it once, you realise how to have a little bit more control over it.”

On the nickname RPattz: “I would like to break the hands and mouth of the person who came up with it.”

On the Twilight culture, the teams and fans following his relationship: “That’s the one thing I’ve been annoyed about by the whole thing. The kind of ‘team’ aspect of it. It’s strange. I think that’s what has created a very strange atmosphere around how the movies are promoted and stuff. It’s making it like a sport or something. People can’t really watch the films any more because they’re thinking about all this other silliness.”

On reading bad press about himself: “When you’re promoting something, it’s weird; it’s like a strange sort of addiction. If people were whispering about you in the next room you probably want to know what they’re saying, but really you’ll always regret it because they’re probably talking s— about you. It’s this weird thing. You only do it if you’re feeling bad, and want to make yourself feel worse. If you’re feeling good you never look at it. I try and avoid it, because it doesn’t really make any difference. I mean you think it does for a minute but everyone forgets really quick.”

On the media asking about his relationship: “It’s really not up to you, you could talk about absolutely nothing, the editor is going to put it however they want anyway. It’s part of the thing where you reveal what you want to reveal and you talk about what you want to talk about. People ask you about whatever they think the audience is interested in and you can’t really dictate.”

On the response towards his other roles: “I think just because Twilight became so prominent and kind of mainstream, people think I’m similar to the character, but Edward’s such a specific part. I always find it so funny when you do any other part. They’re like ‘this is him kind of acting now’. What did you think I was doing in Twilight?”

MTV Australia:

MTV: Hi Rob! So there’s a lot of anticipation from fans to finally see Bella as a vampire. How do you think Kristen handled the transition – did she do a good job?
Rob:
Yeah, she was really excited about being a vampire. Everybody else who’d been pretty consistently in the movies, they’d obviously been playing a vampire like every day for ages. And so it’s funny seeing someone suddenly come into it and try and figure out their own version of the physicality and the mentality of it.

But her character has a different thing, because she’s supposed to find it really easy. It’s supposed to be a natural progression for her to become a vampire, it’s supposed to be simple. So I guess it was kind of different.

MTV: There are some amazing fight scenes in the film, what were they like to shoot?
Rob:
This one was hard. I mean, we were shooting this big action sequence for about two and a half months in a massive warehouse where they normally sell cows, with a bunch of fake paper snow and green walls, and you literally started to go insane after a while! Yeah, it gets tough doing stuff like that, it gets a bit repetitive.

MTV: Looking back across the whole series, what’s your favorite memory from being on set?
Rob:
There’s been a few. I mean, going to Brazil on this one was pretty fun, it was pretty crazy. I crashed a speedboat which was pretty exciting! Yeah tons. Tons from the first movie, it was just so different being the first one. I mean we used to travel to set, the entire cast, in a minibus. I mean it was so entirely the opposite of what the last one ended up being – like being in helicopters and stuff.

MTV: Before you landed the role of Edward in ‘Twilight’ you had decided you were going to quit acting. Is it strange looking back at how far you’ve come and how much your life had changed since then?
Rob:
Yeah, it is very odd. I think that a lot of actors go through the same thing, when you’ve literally gotta be just like ‘Ugh, this is pointless.’ That’s the only time you ever seem to get any jobs – you’ve gotta be at rock bottom! [laughs] But yeah, it’s funny. I was like fully, fully intending not to do it anymore, and then this came up.

MTV: So what’s next on the horizon for you?
Rob:
My next thing I’m doing in Australia with this guy David Michod who did ‘Animal Kingdom,’ and Guy Pearce. So yeah, that’s going to be fun. It’s a really good script and I think he’s an amazing director, so it’s exciting.

The Herald Sun:

”I don’t say ‘definitely not’ to anything – just in case,” said the 26-year-old Brit ahead of a special fan-based event at Moore Park.

As anticipation builds for the final film in Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling franchise – which opens in Australia on November 15 – Pattinson fuelled speculation that his vampire clan’s domination of the international box office was not yet over.

”Who knows?” Pattinson said.

”I keep hearing things – from the studio as well.”

Here’s a message from Summit:

Dear Twilight Fans,

Summit Entertainment is pleased to announce that we are able to increase the
size of Fan Camp from 1200 to 1500 campers! Confirmation emails are going
out soon, so please check your inbox to see if your registration was
selected for camp, as well as further instructions and details.

Unfortunately, even with this increase in camp size, we still aren’t able to
admit all of the registrants this year (due to the overwhelming number that
we received!). Fear not, if your registration was not selected in the
random drawing, you will be notified via email today and will receive
instructions on how to add yourself or your group to the wait list.
Please read it carefully. You must notify us within 48 hours if you wish to
be added to the wait list. Please Note: No new registrations will be
accepted. The wait list is only for campers who received a registration
confirmation during the initial registration window.

Confirmed Campers: Please be courteous to your fellow Twihards! If you can
no longer attend, let us know as soon as possible at
bd2fancamp@lionsgate.com so that we can
admit campers off the wait list. Your confirmation is not transferable
(i.e. you cannot give it to a friend).

Please know that Summit is currently working on sourcing additional camp
space so that we can admit more campers, but until we do, please make sure
you get on the wait list in the event that there are cancellations.

Thank you for your patience during this entire process and, as always,
thanks for your tremendous support of The Twilight Saga!

Team Twilight (aka Summit Entertainment)

Posted in: Kristen Stewart

Today Kristen had a live Q and A where she talked about her Balenciaga fragrance Florabotanica, feautring fan submitted questions. Here’s our recap of the chat, which was much shorter than we anticipated.

As a first official endorsement, Kristen says she loves what Nicholas Ghesquiere does, with whom she made a photo shoot when she was 14. She knew he wanted to work with her and she had no idea it was a perfume. It’s fun to be with him. He’s natural and impulsive, and she has nothing to do with that process, but she’s able to rip the benefits of something that sort of has something to do with her.
It’s the first time that taking photos in high fashion felt like telling a story, and part of a concept and telling a story. It evoked a feeling. If Florabotanica were a story, what would be? The concept theory for the imagery of the fragrance, he imagined a girl in a garden, which is gorgeous but dangerous. You need gusto and curiosity to get through it.
If she had to describe the fragrance it would be: danger, super French and fresh. Fragrances can smell like an old lady or fake, or a chemical. And you don’t get that from this fragrance. As for her favorite flower, she picks gardenias. As for if it’s true that the famous Balenciaga jacket was made just for her, she says it’s not true, but she loves it like it was her second skin. What does she feel when she smells this perfume? What emotions and feelings does she get? She says she never wore other fragrances before, and it’s the first time she gets into one of them. She feels that it puts her in a step up. It steps up her game. She gets curious because it’s a warm, not flowery or chemical, not too sweet and natural. She also thinks the fragrance is daring, for people who want their face to hang out, who are not shy. She sees herself as this too.
When talking about French chic, she says that fragrances can be like costumes, not that you turn into a character, but the French ride scooters with heels on, and you would never see that in America. There’s such a specific way of being chic in France, and it’s sleek. Florabotanica is French chic. So categorically French. If Florabotanica was a movie, it would be Alice in Wonderland, and she’d be Alice.

Florabotanica was a worldwide trending topic afterward:
